Planting Fruit Trees campaign update: April to June 2015
Case study: a household in Kalowa
- David and Agnes Mzimba have been growing Fruitful Office trees for two years now
- This year they have planted 11 Guava trees and 5 Papaya trees for fruit, and 25 Senna Siamea trees for firewood and poles for building. These trees have been planted around their home and along their boundaries with their neighbours
- The trees that they planted last year are now growing well and have benefitted form the recent rains
- In addition to firewood and fruit, the shade that the trees will provide will be useful
