Planting Fruit Trees campaign update: January to March 2023
Case study: fruit trees for primary schools
- This quarter we have delivered 600 fruit tree seedlings (avocado, orange, tangerine, lemon, tamarind and pawpaw) to various primary schools in the Tukombo region
- The orchards will be managed by the students, providing valuable learning opportunities and hands-on experience around topics like tree growing, pest management, conservation/environment and eventually even business (selling the fruit for profit)
