Planting Fruit Trees campaign update: July to September 2014
Total trees planted so far: 886,116
Focus: tree planting season is here
- From July to December, seeds and polythene tubes (for protection) are provided to households and community centres
- Advice and monitoring are provided in order to maximise the number of trees surviving
- Fruit orchards develop significantly in just 3 years and provide fruit to the local community
