Planting Fruit Trees campaign update: July to Septmeber 2013
Total trees planted so far: 598,398
Focus: Meeting Force Ngwira
- As part of their 10-year celebrations, Ripple Africa brought three Malawian employees to the UK
- Force Ngwira, Environmental Program Manager, personally thanked our clients for the big difference they are making:
- Malawians need to recognise that planting trees (which is currently being done at the household level) provides food and an income source (if sold)
- Small steps are taken but overall the impact can be significant (over 10,000 families each raise 35 trees) - building a lasting legacy for future generations
