Food safety policy statement
1. Appropriate to our context
We recognise our role within the food supply chain as a distributor of perishable fresh produce. We evaluate internal and external issues—including supplier reliability, cold-chain management, hygiene standards, and sustainability – to ensure our Food Safety Management System (“FSMS”) remains effective and relevant.
2. Framework for FSMS objectives
This policy provides the framework for establishing, monitoring, and reviewing measurable food safety objectives – for example, product temperature compliance, customer complaint reduction, and hygiene performance.
3. Compliance and commitment
We are committed to:
- Meeting all applicable food safety, statutory, regulatory, legal and customer requirements with regards to our products
- Implementing and maintaining Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
- Ensuring traceability from supplier to delivery point

4. Communication and awareness
Food safety responsibilities and performance expectations are communicated internally through training, meetings, and noticeboards, and externally to suppliers, customers, and regulatory authorities as needed.
5. Competence and resources
All employees receive food safety and hygiene training appropriate to their roles. We ensure competent personnel and sufficient resources are available to maintain the FSMS effectively.
6. Continual improvement
We actively seek feedback from customers, suppliers, auditors, and employees to drive ongoing improvements in our food safety performance and FSMS effectiveness.
7. Climate change consideration (ISO 22000:2018 Amd.1:2024)
Fruitful Office Ltd recognises that climate change can influence food safety and supply chain stability. We assess its relevance to our business operations and consider related risks – such as extreme temperature variations, transport disruptions, and sustainability of supply – within our FSMS planning and reviews.
