About our fruit

We set the highest standards for our fruit. Always varied. Always seasonal. And whenever possible, straight from the source. We don’t buy air-freighted fruit. Instead, we work directly with local growers who farm sustainably and deliver fresh. Better for the planet, fair for the grower — and with a positive aftertaste in every bite.

All our growers are required to have as a minimum Global GAP. In addition, all our core suppliers are BRC certified. From tree to crate.

Supplier due diligence

Over 80% of our fruit purchasing is done from Sedex registered suppliers.

Our core banana suppliers are Rainforest Alliance certified. Good care for people and planet. Tasty and fair.

What’s in the fruit mix?

Each week we create a mix of the tastiest seasonal fruit. The Essentials Mix has 4–5 varieties. The Seasonal Mix has 7–9. Always fresh. Always a surprise.

How often does the assortment change?

Weekly. The fruit follows the seasons (particularly the Seasonal Mix). So you taste the difference — and enjoy plenty of variety.

Is the fruit organic?

We source as much as possible from local, certified growers who farm ecologically. That way, you eat fruit with a good feeling — and a small footprint.

Where does the fruit come from?

Mostly straight from the grower to your workplace. We work mainly with local farmers. No unnecessary kilometres. No air freight.

How does this contribute to sustainability?

With every crate, you support local growers, reduce food miles, and help prevent waste. Plus, we plant one tree for every three crates we deliver to offset CO₂.

How long does the fruit stay fresh?

Because it’s delivered so fresh, it stays ripe and tasty for at least 2 days at the office — without any artificial tricks.

What if a piece of fruit isn’t good?

No worries. We refund every piece that doesn’t meet your expectations. Always satisfaction guaranteed.

Can I choose which fruit we get?

Our buyers carefully compose the mix for you. So you get variety every week, without the hassle. Specific requests? Let us know — we’re happy to think along.

What happens to leftover fruit?

Fruit that can’t be delivered goes to The Felix Project (FareShare). Nothing is wasted.
